The successful candidate will be responsible to sell to the water/wastewater or power market and will effectively communicate with all levels of a customer hierarchy.
The position requires prior experience in technical sales and negotiation processes, including commercial terms and conditions, and a thorough understanding of customer specification development, Request for Quotations (RFQs), and proposal processes for the water/wastewater or power industry.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a customer relationship at all levels
- Execute sales plan and strategies
- Deliver customer presentations and basic level product solution demonstrations
- Recommend account business strategies, propose scope strategies, negotiate and close orders
- Provide competitive differentiation and pricing strategy to Power & Water Solutions management
- Identify and develop new accounts and partnerships in the water or power industry
Position Requirements:
This position requires a BSEE or the recognized equivalent technical degree and a minimum of seven (7) years experience in sales, marketing, or related field experience applying technical products, services, and control solutions to process controls.
This position requires a minimum of 50% travel.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify, assess, and recommend target competitive displacement accounts
- Develop displacement strategies
- Create and conduct campaigns to position Emerson as the preferred supplier with targeted accounts
Position Requirements:
The position requires a degree in engineering or computer science, and proven record of performance in water industry sales or business development, and a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience.
Preferred candidates will have a history of success selling large control systems projects to the municipal water and wastewater industry for major Distributed Control Systems suppliers in the U.S.
This position requires 85% travel.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide additional turbine sales assistance and support the overall vision and marketing business plan for Power & Water Solutions growth in the North America/Latin America turbine controls market, specific to the power generation industry.
- Provide business development and sales support to Power & Water Solutions sales.
- Support the development of advanced turbine control programs for key turbine competitors (e.g. GE, Siemens).
- Recommend concepts for new or improved Ovation turbine solutions and migration offerings to improve Power & Water Solutions sales effectiveness in turbine control markets.
Position Requirements:
Position requires a BSEE or BSME engineering degree or the equivalent with a minimum of four years experience with the design and application of turbine control systems or mechanical control systems and a minimum of four years sales and marketing experience in the development and management of business growth programs; eight years total experience in North America power generation industry market.
The position requires 50% travel.
