Superior performance and reliability in challenging applications
Based on the same vibrating short fork technology as the Rosemount 2120, the Rosemount 2130 delivers increased safety with proven FMEDA suitable for SIL2 with an SFF greater than 90% (subject to selected output type) and extends our coverage to include the more challenging applications in many industries.
Features include a complete range of process connections, wide choice of housing and wetted parts materials, four different switching functions, extended fork lengths and hazardous area approvals, making the Rosemount 2130 suitable for virtually all liquids.
The Rosemount 2130 continuously performs advanced instrument health self-checking of the fork and sensor. These diagnostics can detect external damage to the forks, internal damage to the sensor, excessive corrosion and over-temperature.
The Rosemount 2130 can withstand liquid temperatures from -94 °F (-70 °C) up to 500 °F (260 °C) and pressures to 1450 psig (100 barg).
- Function is virtually unaffected by flow, turbulence, bubbles, foam, vibration, solids content, coating, properties of the liquid, and product variations
- No need for calibration and requires minimum installation procedures
- Easy terminal access, polarity insensitive and short circuit protection
- No moving parts or crevices means virtually no maintenance
- Advanced electronic instrument health and self-checking of the fork and sensor
- Visible Heartbeat LED shows device status and health
- Adjustable Switching Delay for turbulent/splashing applications
- Magnetic Test Point makes functional test easy
- Extended fork length options up to 118 in. (3 m)
- “Fast Drip” Fork Design gives quicker response time especially with viscous liquids
- General area, Explosion/Flameproof and Intrinsically Safe options
- Increased safety with proven FMEDA suitable for SIL2 with an SFF greater than 90%
