Rosemount Inc. offers a competitive benefits program that can provide for the health, well-being, and future financial security for yourself and your dependents. Through a strong profit sharing program employees realize company contributions to a retirement account each year that reflect the performance of the company, and their own individual efforts. Our medical and dental plans provide options for the care of yourself and your family. Life insurance and long-term disability benefits give you the peace of mind you need and protect your dependents. A flexible work schedule, vacation and holiday plans allow you to balance your work life with your personal schedule. Additional benefits such as tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, employee assistance programs, and onsite wellness activities are available to support you and provide the environment you need to succeed personally and professionally.

Profit Sharing Retirement Plan
Rosemount’s Profit Sharing Retirement Plan is designed as a retirement savings program. The plan gives employees an opportunity to share in the profits they help make. Since 1975, the Rosemount annual company contribution for each participant in the plan has been above 10% of base wages. This is an excellent way to save for retirement! Eligible employees can participate on a pre-tax basis as well as an after-tax Roth 401(k). Company contributions are made annually based on profitability. Employees can invest in a variety of fund options.

Company Paid Life and AD&D Insurance
Rosemount provides full- and part-time employees Company Paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage equal to two times their base salary.

Supplemental Term Life and AD&D Insurance
Employees may purchase additional Term Life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance for themselves and family members at group rates. Premiums are paid through payroll deduction.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Account Programs are provided for reimbursement of both Health Care expenses (those expenses not covered by the Insurance Plans) and Child Care expenses. You may elect to contribute up to $5,000 per year for Health Care expenses and up to $5,000 per year for Dependent Care expenses. These benefits are administered through Horizon Agency.


Tuition Reimbursement & Educational Programs
Rosemount sponsors a broad range of educational and developmental programs that help employees reach their full potential in their current jobs and to prepare them for additional responsibilities within the company.

Tuition Reimbursement:
The Company sponsors a tuition reimbursement program. Full-time employees are eligible for $5,250 on an annual basis. Programs and courses must be approved in advance. Part time employees are eligible $2,625 per year.

To assist with the education of employee’s dependents, the company finances a variety of scholarships each year. This program is available to children/dependents of employees who have three years or more of service with the company.

Training and Development Resources:
In house courses and workshops that help employees improve their knowledge and skills are offered based on employee interest and company need. We also pay for job-related outside seminars, conferences, and workshops.

Health and Wellness

The professional and personal well being of employees is important to us. Employees are encouraged to maintain a balance between work and social life by participating in team building activities available through the company, as well as discounted rates for employees and family on entertainment, movies, fitness centers, hotels, travel packets and much more. Our safety and ergonomics committees help insure a safe work environment.

Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance
Rosemount Twin Cities offers a variety of medical, dental, & vision plans at affordable prices. Rosemount shares in the premium cost. New hire coverage begins 1st of month after hire date. See plan summaries for coverage detail.

Vacation time for eligible full-time and part-time employees accrues bi-weekly and is available to use as it accrues. Vacation Benefits are provided on the following schedule:

Sick leave is available to employees and is accrued monthly, with no waiting period to use earned leave.

Long Term Disability
Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to purchase Long Term Disability Insurance. This plan pays up to 60% of an employee’s base wage if totally disabled because of illness or injury after a 60-calendar day waiting period. The plan is coordinated with Social Security and Workers’ Compensation. Benefits are payable to age 65-70 depending on when the disability occurs. The employee and employer share in the cost of this program.

Flexible Scheduling Options
Rosemount offers a variety of flexible scheduling options to help employees balance work and home life. Options include day, evenings, and weekend hours, flexible start and stop time and telecommuting. Individual schedules can be established with supervision and are based on mutual benefit for the company and the employee.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Employees, spouses and dependents are encouraged to use the Employee Assistance Program – ComPsych’s Guidance Resources - for assessment and referral for a wide variety of personal and professional issues. Use of the program is confidential.


Adoption Assistance
Financial Assistance is available to eligible employees to help with expenses incurred in the adoption of children.  Rosemount will reimburse up to a maximum of $2,500 for each adoption per family.
