The DeltaV SLS Logic Solver, built for digital communications with safety sensors and final control elements, uses the power of predictive field intelligence to increase overall reliability of the complete safety instrumented function.  It's designed for use in SIL 1, 2 and 3 safety applications as defined by IEC 61508. Predictive Diagnostic Software for Fast Troubleshooting

In addition, AMS™ Suite: Intelligent Device Manager provides predictive diagnostics to enable you to proactively monitor the health and status of your smart SIS devices. AMS Device Manager also documents and archives instrument configurations and changes and prohibits changes to devices which are connected to a locked logic solver. SNAP-ONs like AMS ValveLink and QuickCheck provide additional value through valve diagnostics and interlock checking support.

Protection, Prediction and Performance Monitoring

The CSI 6500 Machinery Health Monitor allows users to combine protection modules from the CSI 6000 Machinery Health Monitor with new plug-in prediction modules to create a single rack for a complete online monitoring solution. Both the CSI 6000 and CSI 6500 comply with the requirements for API 670 protection.  API 670 is the American Petroleum Institute's globally-accepted definition of industry best practices for turbomachinery protection.
