Program Features
- As with our latest workstations and servers, the configuration of an Emerson certified remanufactured computer is tightly controlled, right down to the switch settings, BIOS, card slot assignments, hard drives, network interface cards, device driver versions, and more. Emerson certifies their compatibility with standard Emerson NT and XP/Server 2003 based system software applications.
- All models are remanufactured with new parts in place of components that are most likely to wear out, for long life and dependable operation. These components include hard drives, power supplies, cooling fans, English keyboard and mouse.
- The Dell Optiplex GX150 workstation is the appropriate choice for RS3 and most PROVOX applications.
- The Dell Precision WS340 is the most robust workstation produced by Dell specifically for NT applications.
- Each PE2600 comes equipped with the NT Operating System, and as a stand-alone (member) server with a five-disk RAID array and built-in controller for RAID5 fault tolerance, protecting the integrity of your data.
- The Dell Optiplex 755DT and Dell Precision T3400 are available for DeltaV Systems that require the Windows XP with SP1 or SP2 Operating System.
- The Dell PowerEdge PE2900 III is the appropriate choice for DeltaV Systems that require the Windows Server 2003 with SP0 or SP1 Operating System.
- The NT and XP/Server 2003 Operating System software is Emerson's approved configuration, not a generic commercial version.
- Emerson certifies these remanufactured Dell computers for all standard Emerson systems applications.
Scope of SupplyEach certified remanufactured Dell computer will be supplied with:
- All cards, memory and other components identified in the product description, pre-installed and configured per Emerson specifications.The Emerson certified English language version of the Microsoft NT 4.0 operating system, pre-loaded and configured.
- The Emerson certified English language version of the Microsoft NT 4.0, XP or Server 2003 Operating System, pre-loaded and configured.US standard AC power cord.
- A one year warranty.
- U.S. standard AC power cord, Keyboard and Mouse.A Microsoft license for either the XP or Server 2003 Operating System.
- Emerson NT Restore and NT Resource CD, OR XP or Server 2003 Installation CD.
- For NT machines, a Microsoft license for either the XP or Server 2003 Operating System.
