TankRadar Rex 

TankRadar Rex is designed for refineries, tank terminals and the petrochemical industry. It is the accurate system for custody transfer, process control, inventory control or for filling a tank without risk of overflow.

TankRadar Rex measures levels to a precision of ± 0.5 mm, can emulate level gauges from other manufacturers and be fully integrated into existing systems.

The TankRadar Rex gauge is available with a wide range of antennas for different applications. Electronics and housing are the same for all 3900-series gauge types.
RTG 3920 Horn Antenna Gauge
The Horn Antenna Gauge is used on 200 mm (8-in.) or larger nozzles on fixed roof tanks.
RTG 3930 Parabolic Antenna Gauge
The Parabolic Antenna Gauge is used for measurements in both fixed and floating roof tanks. The antenna design provides high gain and signal to noise ratio, which makes it suitable for measurements on bitumen, asphalt, condensing and sticky products.
RTG 3950 Still-pipe Array Antenna Gauge
The Still-pipe Array Antenna Gauge is used in existing still-pipes. Typical applications include crude oil tanks with floating roofs, and gasoline / product tanks with or without inner floating roofs. It is available in two versions, fixed and inclined.
RTG 3960 LPG/LNG Gauge
The LPG / LNG Gauge is installed in a still-pipe and measures the level of liquefied gas in LPG and LNG tanks. It is rated up to 40 bar (600 psi) and is designed to operate in a wide temperature range; -170 to 90 °C (-274 to 194 °F) in tank.
MST – Multiple Spot or Average Temperature Sensor
A number of spot elements are placed at different heights to provide a tank temperature profile and an average temperature. Only fully immersed elements are used to determine product temperature. The MST can be integrated with a water level sensor.
WLS – Water Level Sensor
The water level sensor is used to determine the water content in a tank. At the bottom of an oil storage tank there is water and by measuring the water level it is possible to calculate the correct product volume in the tank.
Pressure Transmitter
3051S is the standard pressure transmitter supplied with the TankRadar Rex system for in-liquid mounting. It has an industry leading performance with 0.025% accuracy.
DAU 2100 - Data Acquisition Unit
FBM 2180 – Field Bus Modem
FCU 2160 – Field Communication Unit
The FCU polls data from Rosemount tank gauging field devices and stores the values in a buffer memory. When a request for data is received, the FCU can send data from up to 32 tanks.
FCU 2165/2175 – Field Communication Unit
The FCU polls data from field devices of different brands and stores the values in a buffer memory. When a request for data is received, the FCU can send data from up to 256 tanks.
Mobrey DS20D/DS21D Floating Roof Alarm Switch
This switch is used when a separate high level alarm device is required to prevent overfill situations. It is available in two versions, DS20D for tank roof detection and DS21D for detection of liquid on the floating roof.
RDU 40 – Remote Display Unit
RDU 40 is a robust display unit for outdoor use in hazardous areas which can be connected up to 100 m (330 ft) from the gauge. If the number of temperature elements per tank is 6 or less, it is the most cost efficient field display.
Rosemount 2120 Alarm Switch
The fixed roof alarm switch, Rosemount 2120 Vibrating Fork, is used when a separate alarm switch is required to prevent overfill situations. The radar level gauge itself is also approved for overfill protection.
