Typical control systems can only read transmitter outputs every 1-2 seconds. Also, during process control, high frequency process noise is filtered out. The Rosemount 3051S monitors rich process information through patented electronics at a rate 20 times faster than a typical control system. This allows the 3051S to better detect process noise and form the basis for Statistical Process Monitoring.
