A wide selection of antennas

When ordering a Rosemount 5600, you can select from a wide range of antenna styles in order to get the best performance based on each application and available process connection.

The antennas range from the small process connection of the rod antenna, with NPT connections, all the way up to the larger parabolic antenna, which is primarily used for long range or solids applications. In between these there are cone antennas, rods and process seal antennas, available in different materials and designs in order to provide the best possible solution.

The transmitter head can easily be removed from the antenna assembly for replacement or service, without opening the tank.

The rod antenna is suitable for tanks with small openings. The rod is available in two different lengths, indicating different inactive lengths. The inactive portion of the antenna shall be longer than the nozzle height it is installed on. The inactive lengths available are 4 in (100 mm) and 10 in (250 mm).

The rod antenna is designed with a protective plate (see cone antenna for more information).
