Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Flowmeters
3051SFC, 3095MFC, 405C, 1595
Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Flowmeter technology provides unprecedented performance with minimal straight-run piping. Orifice metering is now more flexible and better than ever before.
Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Flowmeters are designed for ease of installation and maximum performance by eliminating the need for impulse lines, special flanges or piping modifications. Self-centering mechanisms ensure optimal accuracy while improving the overall installation process
Features of the Rosemount Conditioning Orifice include:
- Reduces pipe straight-run, requiring only 2D upstream and 2D downstream
- Provides superior performance of up to +/-0.5% accuracy in short straight-run installations
- Direct-mount capability providing "Best-in-Class flowmeter solutions
- Savings in excess of 50% can be realized compared to a traditional orifice plate installation

The Impact of Swirl
Upstream disturbances cause swirl in a pipe and create an irregular flow profile. These effects are amplified across a concentric orifice plate allowing the disturbance to impact measurement. |
Controlling Swirl with Innovative Design
The four equally spaced holes of the Rosemount conditioning orifice plate eliminate swirl and irregular flow profiles. This results in a more stable and accurate measurement. |
Less Straight-Run Equals More Savings

|
 |
Savings in excess of 50% when compared to a traditional orifice plate installation can be realized.
- Reduced straight pipe run
- Less expensive than an orifice plate installation
- Accurate and repeatable
- Centering mechanism
- Based on ASME / ISO corner tap design

Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Flowmeters are designed for superior performance in limited space applications, such as:
- OEM Skid Manufactures
- Offshore platforms
- Retrofitting poorly performing standard orifice plate installations due to limited pipe straight run
- LNG carriers in Marine industry with small and limited space
- Engineering and Construction firms (saves design time)
|
|
Install in Short Straight Pipe Run
- Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Flowmeters require less straight pipe run, significantly reducing engineering, procurement and installation costs
- Delivers superior performance with only two pipe diameters from an upstream flow disturbance
|
|
|
Improve Oil and Gas Wellhead Measurement
- Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Flowmeter provides superior flow measurement directly after the wellhead
- Reduced short straight pipe results in substantial installation savings
- Proven accurate and reliable in wet gas applications
