The Electrical Assembly Engineer position will work closely with design engineers and suppliers to ensure our requirements are understood and that supplier processes are capable of producing product which meets those requirements at the desired production rate and the best cost.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the internal technical expert on designated commodities
  • Support resolution of supplier related issues and non-conformances
  • Build suppliers’ understanding of our technical and  performance requirements
  • Influence design engineers to optimize for Design for Manufacturability/Test in New Product Development programs
  • Evaluate and approve new suppliers and parts using the Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) process
  • Support the Electrical Assembly Prototype Area
  • Develop and maintain consistent electrical quality management processes between all Rosemount factories
  • Manage programs designed to reduce total cost while maintaining quality
Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates must possess a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.  A minimum of 0 to 3 years applicable experience required.  Graduate work or advanced degrees may be applied toward experience requirements.
