NGL stabilization gas recovery
Natural Gas Liquid stabilization results in a very rich, high BTU content gases which should be collected and utilized for fuel or sold.  Utilizing Coriolis meters on the gas recovery side not only gives an accurate accounting of the gas collected but also can allow users to infer the quality as a function of mass.

Dehydration measurement and control
Utilizing Coriolis on the glycol stream not only allows accurate control of the glycol feed to maximize the dehydrator capacity, but can also be used to give an indication of the glycol quality and regeneration capability.  Maintaining accurate dehydration control with Coriolis mass meters helps to reduce energy consumption, improve dehydration capacity and reduce emissions

Application capabilities include:
  • Optimizing glycol feed rates (often two to three times higher than needed resulting in wasted energy and emissions from glycol regeneration)
  • Glycol regeneration
  • Accurate vapor recovery system for gas recovery accounting
  • Fuel gas measurement and control to reduce fuel usage and improve emissions on regenerator
Gas compression fuel management
One of the growing environmental concerns for compressors is fugitive emissions.  By utilizing Coriolis meters on the fuel supply, direct mass and inferred het duty can be used to accurately control the air/fuel ratio.  Greater efficiency results in a 15 to 25% reduction in fuel usage and the associated emissions.  In addition to improved fuel efficiency and emissions, the control systems can also help reduce compressor damage and associated maintenance cost.

Application capabilities include:
  • Accurate fuel management and usage
  • Non-mechanical design undamaged by slugs or start-up conditions unlike traditional turbine meters
  • Accurate vapor recovery system for gas recovery accounting
  • Measurement unaffected by pulsating flow associated with reciprocating compressors
