Hytork^®'s HyVision is a rugged, corrosion resistant, positive position indicator (electrical and visual) for all 1/4 turn applications.

A Multiple Use Junction Box

With up to three conduit entries, the HyVision housing and multiple internal terminal wiring strips eliminate the need for separate electrical junction boxes. Solenoid valves, limit switches and other feedback devices can all be wired in the one single HyVision enclosure.  A real cost and time saver.

SafeMount NAMUR bracket

The fully enclosed HyVision Safety Bracket made from aluminum is designed as an integral part of the switchbox assembly and mounts without couplings or other bracketry to the Hytork^® "XL" series of actuators. The fully enclosed bracket prevents fingers getting trapped in the moving shaft, reduces contamination build up around the shaft and improves installed rigidity.

An integral, positive, auto-centered no-slip drive (to VDI standards), connects the actuator to the switch drive. There are no screws to tighten to the shaft and nothing to work loose. Mounting is quick, easy and foolproof !

Position Indication

The HyVision Switchbox contains your selection of up to four switches to electrically or pneumatically provide accurate, positive feedback of the valve or damper position. This "instrument" indication is complemented by a large rugged visual indicator which is easily seen from any angle.

Rugged & Corrosion Resistant

To meet the challenges of today's process environments, HyVision Switchboxes are manufactured from state-of-the-art composite materials that provide superior strength and maximum resistance to attack from corrosives. The base housing and bracket are Zytel. A sealed, clear Lexan indicator cover and stainless steel fasteners provide the essential physical and chemical protection for the indicator.

User Friendly

The HyVision spring loaded, Kwik Set cams permit easy and accurate positioning of the limit switch trigger points. A splined gear prevents slipping caused by vibration or corrosion. To facilitate ease of wiring, the terminal strips and switch module is simply removed from the base. Access to the switchbox internals is quick and easy - a quick turn of the Lexan cover, with its "O" ring sealed bayonet lock to the housing, completely opens the large working area of the switchbox. The HyVision has two "O" Ring seals, one for the shaft and one for the lid (instead of unreliable flat face seals), ensuring that it is suitable for humid environments.

Maximum Visibility Of Position Indicator

The HyVision visual indication is the largest, most easily seen indicator on the market. Protected by the virtually unbreakable Lexan cover, accurate position indication can be seen from almost any angle. By design, the overall envelope dimension of the HyVision is smaller than most other designs, even though the visual indicator is significantly larger. The HyVision has no external moving parts.
