Francel, a division of Emerson Process Management, was founded in 1936 by
Monsieur BOURDEAU, and at that time specialised in steam expansion.
Almost twenty years later, a major turning point for the company, Gaz de France asks Francel to manufacture Expansion Valves and Regulators for the Natural Gas Transmission domain.
In 1960 Francel produces its first Natural Gas Pressure Regulator and over the years to follow expands its experience to the Distribution and Domestic domains.
By 1989 the Group LEGRIS has taken Francel in charge and gives the company an international dimension.
During the 90's Francel moves to Gallardon and joints the Emerson Process Management group. At the end of the 90's Francel is jointed by CD GAZ SYSTEMES in ROANNE.
The beginning of the new century Francel celebrates its 10th year in Gallardon. CD GAZ SYSTEMS merge with Francel to create Francel Gallardon and Francel Roanne.
