Course WHL - 8.7

Overview

This course is for students who will set up and maintain the WEStation Historian and Log Server drops.

Prerequisites

Prior completion of WSU-8.7 (WEStation Software User) or WSM-8.7 (WEStation Software Maintenance) is required . Knowledge of Applix, UNIX, and Open Windows is strongly recommended.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Create and customize historical trends
• Define and configure historical subsystems
• Build and modify the Historian database
• Define and configure secondary and tertiary storage devices
• Utilize Applix to build custom reports
• Configure single and batch reports
• Configure the Log Server
• Configure the Base Alarm system
