Gear Operator 

The introduction of the Dantorque gear operator enables Dantorque to provide a one stop-service to industry with the addition of a manual / ROV gear operator.  Available in sizes with max. output torque of 6000 Nm (53100 in lb) up to 305000 Nm (2699250 in lb) or to customer requirements.


In developments with a mix of hydraulic and mechanically operated ball valves this facility simplifies one of the key interfaces in providing interchangeability between mechanical and hydraulically operated valves.
The concept has been developed to provide a subsea compatible unit which is compact in size and flexible in design to suit diver / ROV operation.

 

 


MP Gear Operator

Manual Gear Operator with input shaft perpendicular to valve stem and equipped with hand wheel for diver operation. Requires an input torque of 45 Nm (400 in lbs).

 

 

RK Gear Operator
For operation by diver or ROV held torque tool. Gear operator with input shaft co-axial to the valve stem and equipped with torque tool receptacle to ISO 13628-8 (formerly API 17H). Requires and input torque of max. 1130 Nm (10000 in lb).

RP Gear Operators
For operation by diver or ROV held torque tool. Gear operator with input shaft perpendicular to the valve stem and equipped with torque tool receptacle to ISO 13628-8 (formerly API 17H). Requires and input torque of max. 1130 Nm (10000 in lb).
