Daniel Gas Chromatograph Upgrades
Daniel provides the ability to improve and expand the application capability of existing gas chromatograph installations by offering several refurbishment and upgrade packages.
Some of these packages enable customers to update their instruments with the latest in productivity enhancing components, while others broaden the suite of measurements available without the need to invest in additional gas chromatographs, thus providing economical alternative routes to expanded analysis capabilities and maximizing equipment life-cycle value.
Upgrade and refurbishment packages are available for Danalyzer Model 500, 700 and 1000 Gas Chromatographs and Model 2350 controllers:
- Refurbishment of BTU gas chromatograph
- Cycle time reduction upgrade
- C9+ upgrade
- O2 measurement upgrade
- H2S measurement upgrade
- Model 2350A controller upgrade
- Filter upgrade

- Gain additional analysis capabilities for a fraction of the cost of an additional gas chromatograph
- Reduce the cycle time of standard BTU applications for greater productivity and more frequent quality monitoring
- Reduce maintenance costs by adding upgraded filters
- Upgraded gas chromatographs are returned to customer site in “like new” condition
The following upgrade and refurbishment packages are available for Danalyzer Model 500, 700 and 1000 Gas Chromatographs and Model 2350 controllers:
- Refurbishment of BTU gas chromatograph
- Cycle time reduction upgrade: reduces BTU analysis cycle time from 12 or 6 minutes to 4 minutes
- C9+ upgrade: modification of C6+ unit to C9+ unit
- O2 measurement upgrade: adds O2 measurement capability to natural gas unit
- H2S measurement upgrade: adds H2S measurement capability to natural gas unit
- Model 2350A controller upgrade: upgrades Model 2350 controller to 2350A functionality simplifying analyzer configuration, maintenance, and data collection. This package includes MON2000 Windows-based workstation software with built-in tools such as:
- Automatic recording of alarm and event logs
- Increased diagnostic capabilities
- Remote modem or Ethernet access
- Connectivity via industry standard protocols such as Modbus and OPC
- And much more
- Filter upgrade: replaces existing filters with low maintenance Model 120 Genie filters
