Rosemount 8705 Flanged Sensors
The Rosemount 8705 flanged sensors are fabricated from stainless and carbon steel and welded to provide a hermetic seal that protects against moisture and other contaminants. The sealed housing ensures maximum sensor reliability by protecting all internal components and wiring from the most hostile environments. All Rosemount magmeter systems use pulsed DC technology that provides continuous automatic zeroing to compensate for variations in the process environment.
- All-welded sensor housing ensures reliability in the harshest environments
- Wide range of sizes, lining materials and electrode materials to meet all of your magnetic flowmeter needs
- ISO lay lengths
|
- Features traditional flanged construction and simple design to enhance reliability. Available in sizes from 0.5 to 36 inches (15 to 900 mm), with a wide selection of wetted materials for compatibility with virtually all conductive fluids.
- Housing fabricated from carbon steel and is fully welded to provide a hermetic seal. The housing also includes secondary containment compartments that surround the electrodes to capture any potential process fluid leakage.
- An optional lining protector, available for PTFE-lined sensors, guards against installation damage and leading edge wear.

| The 8700 Magnetic Flowmeter Systems provide obstructionless flow measurement that is ideal for metering any conductive fluid. A wide choice of construction materials provides compatibility with virtually all applications, from highly corrosive liquids to fibrous slurries often considered difficult to measure with other devices. Rosemount Magnetic Flowmeters offer the benefit of measuring flow in a package virtually unaffected by density, temperature, pressure, and viscosity change. | |
