Steam Conditioning
Steam Conditioning is the combination of pressure reduction and temperature reduction of superheated steam to fit process needs, protect downstream equipment or allow the use of less expensive materials or schedules for downstream piping.  This is done with a pressure reducing valve and a spraywater addition section either as separate units or a single device.
Fisher TBX-TDesuperheaters/Attemporators
Devices used to inject controlled amounts of cooling water into a superheated steam flow to reduce or control steam temperature.
Fisher HPVEngineered Valves
Steam conditioning valves serve to control steam pressure and temperature by combining both functions within one control element unit.
Fisher TBXTurbine Bypass
Globe and angle valves used to reduce both steam pressure and temperature in gas fired and combined cycle power plants.
