Co-op/Intern Program

The goal of our Co-op / Intern Program is to provide students with a challenging work experience in an atmosphere that enhances your educational background with real life knowledge.  The Fisher division of Emerson has a committed effort to fill open entry-level full-time positions from our current and previous co-op / intern talent pool.

Core Majors Recruited Include: Accounting, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Communications (Technical), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, MIS, Marketing (Product/Technical), Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Software Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Welding Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Almost all engineering and technical related positions are available as a co-op role and require a continuous summer and spring or fall semester commitment. 
  • Many other business related positions are available as an intern role and require a summer only commitment, but may extend to a co-op role depending on company and student need. 
  • To be an eligible co-op / intern applicant, you should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale, have completed 60 credit hours of coursework before beginning the program, and are currently pursing a degree program.
