Because of the many configuration and status parameters contained in both HART and FOUNDATION^™ fieldbus devices, most device suppliers organize these parameters in a series of menus (sometimes called a "Menu Tree"). These menus are defined in the Device Description (DD) of the device. In many cases, these menu trees are described in the Product Manual for the field device.
