ControlWave® Redundant Control Systems
Safety, reliability, high availability, and functionality are vital components of every control system in today’s industrial world. ControlWave® Redundant Control Systems utilize communications redundancy, and dual CPUs and power supplies. ControlWave also supports switched I/O redundancy for maximum system availability.
The systems provide for automatic monitoring of primary and hot standby CPUs. Failures are detected automatically and trigger a switchover from the primary CPU to hot standby CPU. All communication channels are automatically switched. Data, alarms, and historical information are also automatically transferred. The switchover and data transfer is fast and bumpless, thereby ensuring that there is no interruption in process control.
